Challenges Facing Whales in the Next Decade
The Executive Director of the American Cetacean Society will be speaking
about the recent proposal to suspend the moratorium on commercial whaling
at this year’s meeting of the International Whaling Commission (IWC) and
gives a compelling account of all the highlights, lowlights, scandals, triumphs,
and setbacks of the IWC meeting in Agadir, Morocco, held in June.
The Public is also welcome. You won’t want to miss it!
The meeting will be at the Sharp Park Library in Pacifica.
