ACS 2018 Conference "Whales & Us: The Next Generation"

The American Cetacean Society's 2018 conference will focus on the future of whale, dolphin and porpoise conservation and the next generation of experts working to protect them.

Activities will include: speaker sessions with world-renowned experts, book signings, the world-premier of a BBC whale film with the director, a poster session including a student research poster contest, student career workshop with scientists, a photography contest, a silent auction, vendor exhibits, and much more! We will also hold our traditional pre-conference all-day whale watching trip on Friday November 2nd, and will venture out into the rich southern California waters between Catalina Island and Orange County

We are thrilled to be hosting our conference, once again, at the Hyatt Regency in beautiful Newport Beach, CA!  Enjoy the venue's three swimming pools and easy access to Newport Dunes for paddle boarding, kayaking, and boat rentals. The venue is located minutes away from Newport Beach's 10 miles of scenic coastline and world-class shopping.
