Antarctic Peninsula Expedition: Whales, Penguins and Landscapes

Experience the awe of Antarctica while participating in scientific research and supporting cetacean conservation!

Cheesemans' Ecology Safaris and American Cetacean Society have partnered to create an unforgettable expedition offering you the opportunity to explore the pristine wilderness of Antarctica alongside scientists, polar experts, naturalists and professional photographers.  We'll sail the Antarctic Peninsula to observe whales in nutrient-rich waters amid colossal glaciers and spectacular mountain landscapes. The season's golden light will enhance the beauty of the breathtaking surroundings. During the voyage, our core of onboard researchers will open the door for you to participate in Antarctic science.

The itinerary of this unique adventure is designed to maximize our opportunities to study and observe the whales that inhabit this vibrant and nutrient-filled area of the South Shetland Islands and western Antarctic Peninsula. Here we’ll find some of the best whale feeding grounds in the midst of Antarctica’s most stunning landscapes. Our seasoned trip leaders will guide us through zodiac and walking excursions where the possibilities for up-close experiences with humpbacks, Antarctic minke whales, orcas, penguins and seal colonies will surpass our wildest expectations.

Don't miss this extraordinary chance to experience the Antarctic Peninsula!
